For this laboratory you are to produce a web page with three lists. One of each type that we discussed in class.

  5. My favourite authors are Louise Penny, Arthur Conan Doyle and Katie McGarry.
  6. My favourite subjects are math, history and English.

Create a definition list defining the following terms.

angle brackets
Angle brackets mark the beginning and the end of an element;it separates words from their context.
HTML
HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language and it is a user used as a standardizing system for tagging text files in order to get the right font, size and colour you desire for your web page.
HTTP
HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transport Protocol and serves as a user agent for your web browser.
tag
A tag is what you find inside the brackets. They are used to create elements within the brackets.
